Before the website launch

Before our collaboration, the Kratos drone brigade lacked a centralized recruitment platform, relying on fragmented social media. This scattered approach made it difficult to attract specialized personnel like UAV operators.
They urgently needed a modern, secure website built from scratch to streamline applications and clearly communicate their mission to highly skilled candidates.
"Kratos needed a unified digital hub to connect our military drone unit directly with the skilled recruits who are ready to join our ranks."

Answers to questions
What should I prepare before starting a project with Sitematika?
To get started, you only need a clear understanding of why you need a website and who your target audience is—we'll cover everything else during the discovery briefing.
Throughout the project, we'll need your responses to the brief and your time to review and approve each stage, which typically takes 1–2 hours per week. During the design phase, we'll also need your logo, brand identity, and photos. If you don't have a brand identity yet, we can develop one for you as an additional service.
What if I don't have a technical specification (project brief)?
That's completely normal most of our clients come to us with an idea rather than a fully prepared specification. Creating the technical specification is part of our process.
After the discovery briefing, we analyze your business and competitors, prepare the website structure, and define the required functionality. Once you approve the document, it becomes the foundation for the project budget and timeline.
Can I pay for the project in installments?
Yes. We offer three payment options:
- Full upfront payment
- 50/50 payment (50% before the project starts and 50% before the website is delivered)
- Milestone-based payments, where content, design, and development are paid for separately.
The payment schedule is specified in the contract. Work on each project phase begins after payment for that phase has been received.
Can I see examples of Sitematika's work?
Yes. You can explore our portfolio on the Cases page, where each project includes an overview of the client's challenge, our solution, and the results achieved.
How much does website development cost, and what affects the price?
A landing page typically starts at $1,190, while a corporate website starts at $1,590. The final cost depends on your business goals, the required functionality, and the overall scope of work.
After the discovery briefing, we prepare a detailed estimate and fix the project budget in the contract. The agreed price remains unchanged throughout the project. Any additional features or requests outside the approved scope are quoted separately before work begins.
How long does it take to build a website with Sitematika?
A landing page typically takes about 3 weeks, while a corporate website usually takes from 1 month, depending on the project scope.
We discuss the estimated timeline during our initial call, and the final deadline is confirmed in the contract once the project specification has been approved. If anything affects the timeline during the project, we'll let you know in advance.
What does the website development process look like?
Our process consists of several clearly defined stages, and each one is approved by you before we move forward.
Discovery & Briefing
We start with an introductory call to learn about your business and project goals. Then we complete the project brief together, either during the call or in writing. Based on the brief, we prepare the technical specification and confirm the project timeline in the contract.
Content (if needed)
If you don't have website copy, we'll create it based on the project brief. If you already have content, we'll refine and use it.
Design
We create a wireframe, then a design concept, followed by the final UI design. Each stage includes your approval and one round of revisions.
Development
We build the website according to the approved design and present the completed version for your review.
Integrations & Testing
We configure all required integrations, thoroughly test the website, fix any issues, and deliver the finished website along with all necessary access credentials.
What is included in a turnkey website?
A turnkey website means you simply tell us about your business during the briefing, and we deliver a fully functional website.
You don't have to write the content, find a designer, deal with hosting, or populate the website yourself.
Our turnkey service includes:
- Website structure
- Copywriting
- Custom design
- Website development and content population
- Basic SEO optimization
- Technical launch and deployment
Do you help with website content?
Yes. We can handle the entire content creation process.
Our content specialist develops the website structure and writes the copy. Images can be generated using AI when necessary, although we always recommend using authentic photos of your business whenever possible.
If you already have content, we'll work with it. If not, we'll create everything from scratch based on your business, goals, and target audience. All copy is optimized for both SEO and user experience.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
Our workflow is divided into separate stages—content, design, and development—and each stage requires your approval before we continue. This means the final website evolves collaboratively rather than being revealed only at the end.
Revisions that fall within the agreed project scope are included in the price. If you request changes beyond the approved scope, we'll provide a separate estimate before proceeding.
Do you redesign existing websites?
Yes.
We begin with a free website audit to identify what should be preserved—such as search rankings, valuable content, and the existing structure—and what can be improved to achieve better results.
Do you offer SEO or paid advertising on Google and Meta?
Yes.
ebsite marketing is a separate service, and you don't need to have your website built by us to use it—we also work with websites developed by other agencies.
We start with a comprehensive audit, assessing your website's technical health, current search rankings, and competitive landscape. Based on the findings, we develop a tailored strategy with performance forecasts and regular reporting.
Book a website audit to discover growth opportunities before any work begins.
What's included in website maintenance?
Our website maintenance service covers both technical support and content updates.
Technical maintenance includes:
- Software and system updates
- Regular backups
- Security monitoring
- Website uptime monitoring
- Bug fixes
- Subscription and hosting payment management
Content support includes:
- Adding and updating website content
- Editing existing pages
- Uploading banners, images, and new pages
The format depends on your needs. We offer both one-time support and ongoing monthly maintenance with a fixed number of support hours.
Monthly maintenance plans start from $100/month.
The scope of work and service terms are defined in the contract. You can learn more on our Website Maintenance page.
Can the website be expanded or updated after launch?
Absolutely.
We build websites with an easy-to-use content management system (CMS), allowing you to update text, images, pricing, news, products, and other content without the help of a developer.
For more advanced changes—such as adding new sections, custom functionality, or third-party integrations—you can simply contact your dedicated project manager, who will coordinate the work.
Do you maintain websites built by other agencies?
Yes.
Before taking over an existing website, we perform a technical audit to evaluate the quality of the code, security, performance, and any potential issues.
Based on the audit, we provide a clear action plan outlining what should be fixed immediately and what can be improved over time. From there, you can choose the support format that works best for you, whether it's one-time tasks or ongoing maintenance.
